Sincere Sympathy to Gerald's family -
You could say Gerald was an icon in the village for a lot of years. You could almost set a clock to him on his daily walks. With his red crown and his distinctive walk, one always knew who was coming up or down the road. Whenever I would meet him on his walks, I would sing to him The Red, Red Robin Goes a Bob, Bob Bobbin' Along (sung by Al Jolson) - he would laugh! He sure put a lot of miles on. I will always remember Gerald as a kind person who spoke lovingly of his family, loved his cats, playing cards and enjoying the good foods at any event that he attended. Yes Karen, he was a good friend to all of us growing up!
