Obituary of Allen James Oakley Sharpe

Sharpe, Allen James Oakley, 92 of Halifax died suddenly Sunday June 21, 2026 at his home in Halifax. Born in Moser River February 5, 1934 he was a son of the late Walter & Mary (Hurd) Sharpe. Allen worked as a labourer at a fisherman’s market and then as a night watchman at construction sites until his retirement. He enjoyed spending many hours at Tim Hortons with his friends at the Halifax Shopping Center. Survived by two sisters; Maxine Isnor and Elsie Harnish, many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sisters; Jessie Julian, Leona Dahr, Sadie Crowell, Kathleen Jewers, brothers; John, Earl, Clarence, Reginald & Elmer. A graveside committal will be held Saturday June 27 at 2pm in Riverside Cemetery, Moser River.
