Our hearts are broken with the passing of our beloved Mom, Grammie, Sister, Aunt and Friend.
Noreen Frances Allison born March 14,1944, of West Ship Harbour, daughter of the late Eldred and Marie (Murphy) Power, passed away peacefully on June 16, 2026, with her loving children by her side.
Noreen is survived by her daughter Susan(Cyril) Keating, son Tony (Jen) McKay, granddaughters Alison (Kyle), Morgan, and Abby, grandson Andrew great-grandsons Joel, Jordan, and Mason, sister Phyliss Fahie, brothers Eldon, Ken, Joe(Glenda), Victor, Jim(Jocelyn) Power, many nieces , nephews and her beloved cat Baby.
Noreen was predeceased by her parents Eldred and Marie(Murphy) Power, former husband, Robert Allison, common law spouse ,Junior McKay, her sister and brother-in-law, Helen and Art MacDonald, sister-in-law Laureen Power, brother-in-law Winston Fahie.
Noreen (mom) loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loved to make things, you name it she made it from crocheted doilies, knitted items , baby items, stuffed toys, doll clothes, carving , painting, making rugs and much more. Mom also loved sports, bowling, playing slow pitch, horseshoes and of course washer toss, it was never hard to find her a partner for this, you could say she could hold her own and then some. Mom loved mowing her lawn, shovelling of any type, a walk on the beach after a storm or watching storms, in general doing anything outside.. Like watching the animals , birds, and her solar lights in her yard., she especially loved her camping trips with her children and grandchildren
Arrangement have been entrusted to D.S. Crowell & Son Funeral Home, online condolences can be shared with the family through the funeral homes website.
Celebration of life will take place at Chezzetcook & District Lions Club
89 East Chezzetcook Road on Saturday June 27, 2026 from 1 - 3 pm
Noreen (Mom, Grammie) will be remembered forever, her memories will live on in the stories told, and the love she leaves behind.
Forever loved, forever remembered, forever apart of our lives.

My father the late Duncan S. Crowell purchased the business on August 31, 1970 from the late Parker Hamilton. Dad named it Eastern Memorial Funeral Home until a few years later when he changed the name to DS Crowell Funeral Home.
