Obituary of Sandra Dale Zinck

Sandra Dale Zinck July 4, 1956-June 2, 2026 Our family is heartbroken to announce the passing of our beautiful mother and wife. Mom passed away peacefully, with her family by her side. Born to the late James and Margaret Langille. One of 7 children, Mom shared incredible bonds with all of her brothers and sisters. As children, Mom and Johnny were known to get into some mischief, those stories have brought us many laughs over the years. Mom grew up in Liscomb Mills, where she met Dad, the love of her life, best friend and husband of 51 years. Here, they built their life together and had their daughters, Wendy and Charlene. Mom was so proud of her girls and her family. We were her world, and she was ours. After working at Liscomb Lodge for over 25 years, Mom retired and enjoyed spending all of her time doing her favorite things; cooking, crafting, quilting, sightseeing, collecting cardinals, beach combing for sea glass, and taking road trips, just to name a few; but most of all, spending time with her family was her favourite thing. She loved having everyone always visiting. Her morning coffees with Dad and Johnny, daily video chats with Tanner, Lilly and Aaron, and with Wendy and Charlene, brought her so much joy. Mom loved to share a laugh, carry on and was always positive and happy. Mom is survived by husband, Keith, daughters Wendy and Charlene, and son in law Jasper; Brother, Johnny (Connie) and sisters, Darlene (Wayne), Nancy and Dawn (Jim); and her very special nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brother James Jr, sister Diane, and niece Maggie. Cremation has taken place and burial will be at a later date. We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the doctors and nurses at St. Mary’s Memorial Hospital, St. Martha’s Hospital, EHS, the Life Flight team, and Heather, for the care and compassion they gave to Mom and to us. Mom was the heart of our family, a source of unwavering love and strength, and we will miss her beyond measure.
