Elmer’s family:
My condolences on Elmer’s passing. He was a good man, who was well respected and loved by all. I remember as a young teenager having Elmer as my bus driver. When he drove by our house he would blow the horn, as I was always last catching the bus, usually running to get there. He always had that friendly grin on face, just shaking his head. Keep your fond and happier memories close to your hearts. Unfortunately I’m away and wasn’t able to attend Elmer’s celebration of life.

Sending sincere condolences to all of Elmer's family. Many fond memories of Elmer driving the school bus he was our bus driver from grade primary till grade 12 on the 224. He was a great man and will be missed by many hold all your memories close.

To all Elmer's Family .So sorry for your loss.A long well lived life .He was the sweetest man. I can remember that smile getting on the bus for school, and the lineup to get our Juice bottles opened by him.that at that time were jam bottles so tight we could not get them open by ourselves.He use to wait for us to pick up groceries after school from Jen's little store.It is moments like that that stay with us.Just a sweet sweet Man. My father the late Duncan S. Crowell purchased the business on August 31, 1970 from the late Parker Hamilton. Dad named it Eastern Memorial Funeral Home until a few years later when he changed the name to DS Crowell Funeral Home.
