Boutilier, Valerie Hope Patricia, 77, Sheet Harbour died suddenly Friday February 6, 2026 in Sheet Harbour. Born in Mushaboom February 20, 1948 she was a daughter of the late Allison & Jessie (Boutilier) Boutilier. Valerie enjoyed playing bingo and watching her television shows. Survived by sisters; Janie Boutilier and Dela Purdy both of Sheet Harbour, brothers; Oliver (Violet), Mushaboom, Leonard, Halifax and Freddy (Susan), Sheet Harbour Passage. Predeceased by sisters; Audrey, Doreen, Lorna & Barbara, brothers; Calvin, Joey and James in infancy. Cremation has taken place, no visitation by request. Funeral service will be held Saturday February 21, 2026 at 3pm in St. Pauls Anglican Church, Mushaboom Rev. Andrea Budgey officiating. Burial will take place in the spring in St. Pauls (new) Cemetery.

My father the late Duncan S. Crowell purchased the business on August 31, 1970 from the late Parker Hamilton. Dad named it Eastern Memorial Funeral Home until a few years later when he changed the name to DS Crowell Funeral Home.
