Obituary of Gregory Delsworth Dunn

DUNN, Gregory Delsworth Age 63, of Watt Section, passed away suddenly at home on Monday, January 26, 2026. Born in Sheet Harbour on November 12, 1961, Gregory was a son of Clara (Munro) Dunn and the late George Dunn. Following high school, Greg moved to Ontario where he worked for a short time before training as a chef.He later returned to Nova Scotia, working as a chef at Dalhousie University, and for a time owned and operated his own business in Dartmouth. His career took him across Canada, including Alberta where he worked as a chef in firefighting camps. After helping his brother relocate back home, Greg returned to Sheet Harbour. For the past three to four years, he was employed as a chef at Eastern Shore Memorial Hospital, where he was proud of his work and well respected. Greg is survived by his daughter, Jacqueline; son, Mitchell; siblings, Debbie, Orville (Heidi), Patricia, and Arthur (Angelica); as well as many aunts, nieces, and nephews. Cremation has taken place. In keeping with Greg’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service.
