In just having read the sad news of Bob's passing
from the Art Students League's announcement;
I offer my condolences and warm thoughts in sharing the memories of good and inspiring moments throughout our friendship which I always kept inside of me, together with respect for his great artistic Talent.

Cindy, it’s wth great sadness that we say goodbye to such a wonderful, gifted, funny, interesting and intelligent man. We shall miss him and the wonderful visits we had with you both. We were blessed to know him and to say he was our friend.

My father the late Duncan S. Crowell purchased the business on August 31, 1970 from the late Parker Hamilton. Dad named it Eastern Memorial Funeral Home until a few years later when he changed the name to DS Crowell Funeral Home.
