Please share a memory of Laura to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Laura Mae Riley 1959–2025 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Laura Mae Riley, age 66, of Mount Uniacke, formerly of Beaver Harbour Nova Scotia, on November 12th, 2025. Laura was predeceased by her father, Ron Riley, and her mother, Frances Riley (Russell). She is survived by her devoted husband of 30 years, Steven Jollimore, and her beloved children: Scott (Kiera), Angela (Eddie), Erica (Noel), and Joseph (Bria). Laura will also be deeply missed by her brothers Charles, Walter (Linda), and Kenneth (Denise), as well as her ten cherished grandchildren: Hunter, Bailee, Logan, Zoey, Riley, Charlie, Max, Archie, Coen, Hailey. To know Laura was to know vibrancy. There was never a dull moment when she was around—she could burst into song or break into dance without warning, bringing laughter and light wherever she went. She had a love for motorcycles, her cats, crows, and raccoons, each a reflection of her spirited and unique personality. Laura was incredibly proud of her work and approached it with unmatched dedication. She ran her building and properties as though they were her own, pouring her heart into every detail. There was nothing she could not learn or master; she was truly a jack-of-all-trades, resourceful, capable, and one of a kind. Above all else, Laura adored her children and grandchildren. They were her world, the source of her joy, and the reason she stayed forever young at heart. She made time for every event, every milestone, every moment that mattered to them. Laura leaves behind a hole in our hearts, one we will fill with the countless cherished memories she gifted us. Her laughter, her energy, her unwavering love, and her unforgettable spirit will remain with us always. May she rest peacefully, surrounded by the warmth and wild beauty she so deeply embodied. Visitation will be held Sunday November 23 from 12-2 with prayers at 1:30 in DS Crowell & Son Funeral Home Ltd. 22558 Highway 7, Sheet Harbour. A private burial will be held at a later date.
