Boutilier, Donald MacMillan- Age 88 of Spry Bay passed peacefully September 24, 2025 in Eastern Shore Memorial Hospital, Sheet Harbour. Born in Spry Bay February 13, 1937 he was a son of the late Gordon & Leona (Connors) Boutilier. Survived by wife Jean, children Terry, Pansy Martin (Dave), Pamela (Mike) MacPhee, grandchildren; Tyler Martin (Janessa McLane), Cody Martin, Luke and Seamus MacPhee, brother Harold (Bertha) Boutilier, sister-in-law Linda Boutilier. Predeceased by brother Robie Boutilier and sister Eva Boutilier. Funeral service will be held Thursday October 2 at 2pm in St. James Anglican Church, Spry Bay, burial in St. James Cemetery, Boutiliers Road. A reception to follow in the church hall.

My father the late Duncan S. Crowell purchased the business on August 31, 1970 from the late Parker Hamilton. Dad named it Eastern Memorial Funeral Home until a few years later when he changed the name to DS Crowell Funeral Home.
