Obituary of Sandra Leta Whitman

Whitman, Sandra Leta- 77, Port Dufferin passed away Tuesday September 23, 2025 in Eastern Shore Memorial Hospital, Sheet Harbour. Born in Sheet Harbour December 14, 1947 she was a daughter of the late Boyd & Mary (Alveda) (Boutilier) Josey. Sandra loved to travel, she has travelled to Nashville numerous times and enjoyed many shopping trips to Bangor. She enjoyed bingo, watching races, reading, watch movies, spend time with family and had a deep love for everything Christmas related. Survived by children; Roger (Lisa) Whitman, Rhonda (Wayne) Stuart, Beverly Whitman (Toby Naugler), grandchildren; Ryan, Candice (Sean), Morgan (Trev), Melissa (Brandon), Cassie, great grandchildren; Connor, Brandon, Edwin, Harley, sister Bonnie (Ed) Walsh, brother-in-law Tommy, sisters in law; Marlene (Fred), Donna (Peter), Bonnie Whitman, many nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by husband Sherman, sister Carol, niece Theresa and brother-in-law Clair. Visitation will be held Tuesday September 30 from 2-4 and 7-9pm with prayers at 7:30 all in DS Crowell & Son Funeral Home, 22558 Highway 7, Sheet Harbour. Funeral service will be held Wednesday October 1 at 11am in St. James Anglican Church, Port Dufferin Rev. Dr. Michael Foley officiating, burial in the church cemetery.
