Obituary of Wade Lionel DeWolfe

DeWolfe, Wade Lionel- Age 59 of East Ship Harbour died at Victoria General Hospital on September 17, 2025. Wade was a son of Mary (Newcombe) DeWolfe and the late James DeWolfe. Wade made a career at Rosborough Boats for over 22 years, ending it as a productive supervisor. He loved to garden, yard work, reading, going to the cottage at Lake Charlotte and socializing with friends and family, playing cards and darts at the Legion, and spending time with his granddaughters. Survived by his soulmate/wife Darlene (Murphy) for over 38 years, daughter Chantel (Trevor) Branning, Greenwood, granddaughters; Brielle, Braelyn, Ali, Greenwood, baby boy Dudley, brothers; Terry (Cheryl), Shawn (Kelly), Mark (Kathy), many sisters in-law, nieces and nephews. We want to express our deepest gratitude for all the EMT’s, nursing staff and personal who assisted us during this difficult time. Visitation will be held Sunday September 21 from 7-9 with prayers at 7:30. Funeral service will be held Monday, September 22 at 11am in St. Denis Church Hall, with burial in the church cemetery. Reception to follow at the East Ship Harbour Legion. Family flowers only, donations in Wades memory may be made to Canadian Mental Health Association Nova Scotia Division, https://novascotia.cmha.ca
