MacDonald, Lorne Graham- 61, Sheet Harbour died suddenly September 1, 2025 in Sheet Harbour. Born August 23, 1964 in Halifax he was a son of the late Marilyn Mercer & Harold MacDonald. Lorne was a mechanic by trade but he could put his hands to anything. He worked for 19 years with Department of Natural Resources. Lorne enjoyed working on and driving his 1979 Trans am or working on anything with a motor. He enjoyed NASCAR, watching street outlaws, playing pool, watching UFC, playing Mario and he loved his Olands. Lorne literally left his mark all over Sheet Harbour. Survived by wife Carol-Ann, children; Caitlin, Lorne, Waylon (Megan), granddaughter Rylie, sisters Brenda MacDonald (Melbourne), Marilyn Ewing (Bobby), brothers; Timmy Howe, Harold MacDonald, Terry Howe, Freeman Mercer, mother Linda MacDonald, many cousins, nieces and nephews; Jordan, Samantha, Melbourne Jr. Wayne, Kaily, Damon, Dylan, Ashley(Pam), Lucas, Taylor, Shelby and Brandi. Visitation will be held Sunday September 7 from 2-4 and 6-8 all in DS Crowell & Son Funeral Home 22558 Highway 7, Sheet Harbour. Graveside committal will be held Monday September 8 at 11am in St. Peters Roman Catholic Cemetery, Archbishop Martin Currie officiating.
