Q: What will you never forget about Lorne?
A: Whenever the song "Bad to the Bone" came on Lorne and his late father-in-law, Patrick, would start singing it, alone with all the guitar movements. We always had a good laught.
Lots of fun was had in those early days of his marrage to our daughter, Carol-Ann. It never got old. They both had motorcycles and if in the facinity would rev up the motors. They were so funny, everytime I hear this song those memories come back and I always smile.

My father the late Duncan S. Crowell purchased the business on August 31, 1970 from the late Parker Hamilton. Dad named it Eastern Memorial Funeral Home until a few years later when he changed the name to DS Crowell Funeral Home.
