Obituary of Marjorie Ann Verge

Verge, Marjorie Ann- 78, Sheet Harbour, it is with great sadness that the family announce the death of their loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister on August 29, 2025 in Harbourview Lodge, Sheet Harbour. Born in Halifax October 18, 1946 she was a daughter of the late Reid & Ethel (Drover) Langille. After leaving school Marjorie worked as a hairdresser. She then moved to Ontario and worked with the Eatons Company for 4 years. She then moved back to Halifax to start her family and was a homemaker for the following 10 years. Marjorie then worked with McCurdy Print binding books. She enjoyed quilting, gardening, walking, spending time with her family, cooking and baking. Marjorie loved spoiling her grandchildren. Survived by her husband of 57 years Howard, daughter Tracy (Jai) Laba, Hammonds Plains, grandchildren; Cole, Jaime, sister Barb Halsall, Halifax, brothers; Terry (Charlotte) Langille, Jamie (Patsy) Langille both of Halifax, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Visitation will be held Thursday September 4 from 2-4 and 6-8 in DS Crowell & Son Funeral Home, 22558 Highway 7, Sheet Harbour. No funeral by request. Burial will be held at a later date.
