Obituary of Colin Roderick Malay

Malay, Colin Roderick- 74, Sheet Harbour died suddenly Wednesday June 18, 2025 at home. Born in Malay Falls July 18, 1950 he was a son of the late Colin & Marion (Purcell) Malay. After leaving school Collie went to vocational school and obtained his bricklaying course, then went on to Tanners Brewery as a delivery man for many years. He then moved home to take care of his parents, while working various jobs around the community. He loved helping people and joking around and loved to dance. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, a good game of cards and cribbage. He was loved by many. Survived by sisters; Mary Ann, Dora, Janie, Becky (Calvin) Jollymore, brother; Leonard (Tina),sisters in law; Kathy and Jean, many nieces and nephews, and his companion Glenda Mason. Predeceased by twin brother Calvin in infancy, sister Georgie, brothers George and Manson. Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held Saturday June 28 at 2pm in St. James United Cemetery, Lochaber Mines.
