We will forever remember your kindness, willingness to always be there to help, your joking and tormenting, playing the violin when Mom would complain, adventure side when biking with Dad and most of all how much you loved all of the kids and how happy you were when we showed up with them. When you walk back in time...60 plus years.. it's hard to choose just one memory... I will remember collie for the kind and gentle person he was... with piercing blue eyes that sparkled when he laughed.. his side-splitting jokes that he told.. the fish stories that were always 100 per cent truth.. and the many visits to our cabin. I can just bet he and Russell are up in Heaven playing crib and exchanging fish stores with a beer in hand... RIP collie.. "see ya later"

My father the late Duncan S. Crowell purchased the business on August 31, 1970 from the late Parker Hamilton. Dad named it Eastern Memorial Funeral Home until a few years later when he changed the name to DS Crowell Funeral Home.
