My fondest memories of my Uncle Mick., are the love he had for his stock cars, and motorbikes.
The detail he put into his beautiful carvings , winning many first prize ribbons for his efforts.
And the pride he showed in his beautiful work .
The skill he showed with his lettering and artwork, airbrushing. , and signing.
He and Sandy took great pride in rebuilding their tiny cottage into a beautiful “ABODE “as he called it .
Complete with a workshop for all his hobbies.
He loved to donate his time to dress as Santa , and he and Sandy as MRS CLAUS entertained all the children in the parade.
He set aside time each year to visit my parents.
Which were always entertaining , and cherished.
Making the last few visits in his prized Blue Mustang.
He led a life always looking for the next adventure.
And he will be remembered fondly.

I cherish the memories that I shared with my younger brother Mickey. One of the fondest memories was the time we spent building his first soap box car for the derby.
Mickey at his finest in his little sailor suit.
Mickey often came to visit Gisele and I in New Brunswick always on my birthday.
I will miss his phone calls and weekly communication He will be missed dearly by all

Uncle Mickey was a true treasure for me. After Doug passed he had no reason to stay in touch with me. 50 years later we still chat and catch up with each other. Leo and I have visited him and Sandy. We were always greeted with open arms and wonderful hospitality. The photo below was taken in our last visit in August 2022. He has been a wonderful part of my life and I will miss him a great deal. Many hugs and much love to Sandy.
