I will forever remember Johnnie and his mom, Jeanie and dad, Don and sister Jackie. We meant by chance camping at Murphy’s Cove. We returned many summers and my parent one winter.
We went back and forth to the Cooper’s home and enjoyed sharing dinners and campsite fires.
Johnnie besides be so handsome was endearing to his parents and sister, Jackie.
It is so hard for me to grasp Johnnie is now with his mom and dad and I rejoice knowing Jackie although sad will have three angels looking over her!

Jackie, Roger and extended Family,
So incredibly sorry to hear of John's passing. I worked with him for many years at Basin, he was a foreman when I started with the company, so I didn't see him much, but when the safety regulations came into effect and he became our Safety Advisor, I got to see his cheerful face every day.
I missed seeing him on a daily basis when he moved over to the scalehouse and of course when he retired. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.
My sincere condolences to everyone.

Johnny, you have been constantly on my mind the past few weeks. Roger and I met you through my son and his loving companion Jackie, your sister, many years ago. We had good times together playing cards on special occasions, especially Christmas time and Easter. You loved to make people laugh. I will never forget you.

We shared many laughs over Mrs. Brown's Boys and delved deep into political discussions. He was there to support me as I struggled with aging parents going into long term care. He always told me when I was wrong and did it in such a way that I couldn't be angry with him. He was the reason mangement woudn't let me move over to the other space because they knew we would talk too much. I will miss him. He was one of the nicest people I've ever met, and I am honored to have called him my friend.

Johnny was an absolute sweetheart!
At the last Leslie reunion, he and I talked about the importance of the cousins getting together to reminisce about old times. He and Stephen will be with us in spirit at the next get together.

Oh John, you weren’t suppose to leave us yet. I had so many things to tell you and so many things to ask. My heart is just shattered at the fact that I will never get to talk to you on the phone, have lunch together, exchange birthday/Christmas cards, but most of all, I will miss those big hugs of yours. You had the most large and kindest heart. You were always there to listen and exchange a good laugh with almost every day. You were my buddy at work and I don’t know what I am going to do without you. Rest easy my dear friend. Jackie, my heart is with you and thinking of you always. Xoxoxo
