I enjoyed sitting around with Duncan and I would play guitar and we would sing songs together. Sometimes he would get his harmonicas out and play them while I would strum along. Those are moments that I will miss but will cherish them always. Duncan was a good man willing to help anyone and has set a good example for me for the rest of my life. You will be missed very much.

Our sincerest condolences to Aunt Jean and the whole family. I'll miss stopping in for visits with them and hearing his stories. Uncle Duncan will be dearly missed.
He was a great brother to my mom and I'm forever thankful for their weekly visits when he was ill. I'm very thankful that I could give that back when he was in the hospital. It was great to look at old photos with him and hear him talk about the family.
It really warmed my heart to hear how much he loved his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and his beautiful wife. His face lit up with such joy when a baby came to visit him one day. It reminded me of my favourite photo with him from my own childhood.
Rest In Peach Uncle Duncan.

Duncan was such a great neighbour although I grew up in Pleasant Harbour, I never knew Duncan until we moved down from Cole Harbour . He was so thoughtful and kind to us from the moment he meant us, always there if we needed anything, I will miss seeing him around and also miss our little chats that we would have!! RIP Duncan!!
