Hazel’s family:
I was saddened when Hazel passed, my meal and bingo partner at the nursing home. We shared some stories of younger years and what it was like growing up in the depression era. Hazel was a gentle kind soul and I was so happy our paths crossed even if it was this late in our lives.
Thank you to David and Jean for taking the time to drop by and say hello when you were in visiting your mom. My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this sad and difficult time in your lives.

Hazel’s family:
My condolences on Hazel’s passing, certainly a life well lived. Although I really never knew your mom, she was kind and friendly to my mom at the nursing home. Who said you couldn’t make new friends well into your nineties. Keep you many fond and loved memories close to your hearts. My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this sad time in your lives.

Great Aunt Hazel will truely be miss, always loved seeing her.. everytime we had a get together at her sister's Ermas she would be there..we would see her walking over ..
I will miss have a chat with her when I walk by her place.

My father the late Duncan S. Crowell purchased the business on August 31, 1970 from the late Parker Hamilton. Dad named it Eastern Memorial Funeral Home until a few years later when he changed the name to DS Crowell Funeral Home.
