Janice Gail Gammon Obituary

Gammon, Janice Gail- 77, Harrigan Cove, died Tuesday February 4, 2025 in Harbourview Lodge, Sheet Harbour. Born in Groves Point, Cape Breton July 9, 1947 she was a daughter of the late Norman & Annie (Morrison) McLellan. She was the youngest of 8 siblings. Janice worked in Ontario in her younger years at the Trident Gum Company, she moved to Harrigan Cove with her husband and was a homemaker. After her stroke she became a resident of Duncan MacMillan Nursing Home, upon its closing she moved to the new building Harbourview Lodge. She spent a total of 17 years between the two facilities, receiving excellent care from the staff and grew to become very close with them. Janice enjoyed bingo, doing puzzles and loved eating her Rice Krispies in the mornings. Predeceased by husband James Gammon. A graveside service will be held in St. Mary’s Anglican Cemetery, Harrigan Cove in the spring.
