Boutilier, Louis Nelson- 72, Pleasant Harbour passed away Wednesday December 7, 2022 in Twin Oaks Memorial Hospital, Musquodoboit Harbour. Born in Sheet Harbour June 2, 1950 he was a son of the late Murdock & Janetta (Boutilier) Boutilier. In his earlier years he was employed at the Sheet Harbour Pulp Mill until it’s closure in 1971. He then went on to work at the Department of Highways for several years, Halifax County School Board as a bus driver and janitor, then returned to the Department of Highways as a grader operator retiring due to illness. In his spare time he enjoyed working in his wood pile, vegetable garden and going hunting and fishing. Left to mourn adoring wife Cecelia, children; Chad, Crystal (Kevin) Stubbert, the light of his life grandchildren; Brianna, Michael and Connor, brother Harold (Bridget), sister Donna (Mark) Bojoukos, and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sisters Brenda Boutilier and one in infancy. At Louis’ request there will be no visitation or funeral. A private family burial will be held at a later date.
