Doreen was my friend since 1973 when she came to my aid (and my husband's) when our baby died at 4 months of age. Without Doreen I don't know how I'd have made it. Her strength and humour kept me going through a lot. She was a strong person and her love, especially for Ronald, was equally as strong. She was a great person and I'll never forget her. Doreen was one of a kind and so generous with her time volunteering at Joseph Giles Elementary. Doreen never said no to anything and her contribution was greatly appreciated. Doreen will be missed by so many. My fondest memories of Doreen were our many shopping trips she and her Port Richie pals took me on whenever I visited florida. Lots of laughs on those excursions. I will also cherish our amazing New Orleans bus trip! Rest in peace Doreen.
