Dear Betty and family, I was saddened to read about Muzzie’s passing.I knew he had been in declining health these past years. Ian and I were in Sheet last Friday and had lunch with Barb and Ray Smiley. I asked about you both and they told me Muz was not at all well. The MacDonald family will always hold a very special place in my heart ❤️ and please know I share your loss.May the Lord help see you through this difficult time and May the many memories you have keep him for near. It was with a lot of sadness I read of Stan's passing. We served together in the RCAF/CAF in Greenwood. He always had a story and a great sense of humor. He coached our softball team from the senior ranks mess and although we didn't win many games we had a lot of fun. He helped us move into our home along with several co workers and he gave me some sage advice. Moose (my nickname) he told me , Don't bring out the beer until after all the stuff is in your new house. Stan was a great coworker and a loyal member of the Canadian forces. We met up a few times after he was retired in Sheet Harbour when my wife and I would be travelling along that part of Nova Scotia. He will be a great lost to his family and the community as a whole. RIP .

MacDonald family: I remember Muzzy well after I moved to Sheet Harbour. He was such a friendly and polite young boy and man later. He came from a large wonderful family and moved away young. His love of Sheet Harbour brought him back to a place he cherished and wanted to spend out the rest of his life. Keep your happier and fond memories close to your hearts.
